Branding & Visual Identity para Artesanato

Virana Artesanatos

About the project

Building the Virana identity was a focused job: create a unique and human visual language for an existing brand without touching the logotype, defining only how the brand would communicate visually. Virana makes handmade goods such as tote bags, denim pieces and cloth dolls.

Project objective

The objective was bringing the product closer to the customer through a deeply human touch. The client specifically asked for more colour, so the brand would feel delicate but above all cheerful, human and affectionate. Handmade, made with love.

Rationale & conclusions

We defined three typefaces: one serif, one highly legible sans serif and one artistic face, giving the owner the widest possible range of applications. Versatility and ease of use guided every decision, so she could apply whatever felt right in the moment. Every visual element came from craft itself: branches, leaves, threads, stitches and waves.
